Description
Black lacquered leather body; front visor with green underlay, rear visor with red underlay; gilt: round spike base, stars, rear spine, spike and front visor trim; gilt officer front plate of Prussian Line Eagle with a single banner inscribed with the words "MIT GOTT FÜR KÖNIG UND VATERLAND" and the silver Oldenburg coat of arms on an eight-pointed star on the chest of the eagle, attached by two splintas; gilt flat chin scales with rosette side posts; Imperial Officer and Oldenburg cockades; dark brown leather sweatband, worn ochre silk lining.
