Description

Öl auf Leinwand und Keilrahmen, gefirnisst, rs. eine kleine Reparaturstelle. Kniestück, Paul von Hindenburg sitzend in feldgrauer Uniform mit Mantel, am Hals der Pour le Mérite mit Eichenlaub, in der rechten Hand seinen Helm und in der linken seinen Interimsstab als Generalfeldmarschall haltend. Rechts unten undeutlich signiert "Barsch" oder "Baisch" sowie datiert "1918". In neuerem Rahmen mit Messingplakette "Generalfeldmarschall Paul von Hindenburg - Reichspräsident 1925 - 1934" am Unterrand. Bildmaße 107,5 x 91,5 cm, Rahmenmaße 119 x 103 cm.
