Description

Vollplastischer Torpedo des Ersten Weltkrieges aus Bronze mit drehbaren Propellern, wellenförmiger Untersatz aus weißem Metall, darauf schauseitig die Kaiserkrone und das Monogramm "OK", rs. die Schriftzüge "H. Diederking, Kiel, Seemannshaus". Auf poliertem dunkelbraunen Steinsockel (Fehlstelle) mit schauseitiger Metallplakette, graviert "Meinen lieben Eltern zur Erinnerung Euer dankb. Sohn Otto 1925". Teilweise beschädigt, Gebrauchs- und Altersspuren. Maße 24 x 8 x 8 cm.

Provenance: Nach Einliefererangabe aus dem Besitz von Otto Hersing, U-Bootkommandant.
