Black lacquered fiber body (minor dents here and there) with mounts of gilt non-ferrous metal. The star plate secured by screws and applied with the silvered Mecklenburg coat of arms. Spike base with four star-head retainers, pearl ring and tall, detachable ball top. Convex leather-backed chinscales on bosses featuring a geometrical design, both officer's cockades of coloured sheet iron. Ocre silk rep lining on light-brown leather sweatband with golden stamp "Depaheg Patent", neck guard with red lining and front peak with green lining. Partially slightly damaged, signs of wear and age. Very rare and well-preserved.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
