Description

This is our first gun auction dedicated exclusively to guns requiring a license under German gun law. However, that doesn’t mean a thing, as many European countries are much more relaxed than the Germans, and don’t see the imminent threat in an 1864 Slocum front-loading revolver (# 227).  So check your own regulations, please, and don’t get discouraged by the title!

600 lots will come to auction on this day, and, guess what, you’ll find a great selection of guns, from ultra-rare to highly desirable, from everyday hunting rifles to nice shooters for as nice prices. Let me mention just a few babies you might not have even heard of! There is an excellent demonstration rifle of an M16 A2 (# 393) in 2:1 scale in the original box – „US Army only“ ! Then there is a bucket-load of prototypes that even most hardcore collectors haven’t even heard of, let alone laid their hands on – such as an ultra-rare Austrian Roth-Theodorovic pistol (# 308), a Mannlicher M1894 (# 306) or a Swiss Mueller-pistol (# 174), one of only 3 ever built to keep the “hun’s” and their Luger pistol out of Switzerland (guess what, Mueller failed....). If you are collecting rare mechanics, the check out our nice Mauser C77 pistol (# 88), a rare Bittner Mod. 1893 (# 65), a beautiful Schwarzlose M98 (# 116) or a very desirable Loewe-made Borchardt C93 (# 107) in original case!

Collectors of service guns will have a ball, too! There are Mauser C96 pistols of all kinds, from very early Cone Hammers (# 89, 90) to Large Ring Hammers (# 91, 92) all the way to the China Contract model (# 268) a an ultra-rare, original (!) Hunting Carbine (# 93). You’ll find M1911 A1‘s from Colt, Ithaca and Remington, P 38’s of all makers and many codings, and Luger 08-pistols in heart-warming condition. Flip through the catalogue, and get blown away!
