Description

Body lacquered in black and covered with leather with white inscriptions "Carl Zeiss Jena", "D.F. 12,20,40 x 80" and serial number "9696", the eyepiece turret with locking lever and indications of magnification "12x", "20x" and "40x". Lens system (small stains) without graticule plate, coarse sight on top, swivelling tripod adapter with locking screw on the underside. One of the 40-mm eyepieces and one objective damaged, a crack in the right side optic (Prisma?), small lacquer chippings. Length approx. 51 cm. Matching wooden tripod, length in extended condition approx. 150 cm.
