This is an extremely rare shoulder stock for a Mauser C 96 delivered to the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. Below the hinge a German acceptance mark letter "U" with crown, on the lid an Austrian acceptance mark, "W-n - Eagle - 16" = Vienna 1916. The metal attachment numbered 588. On the right hand side of the stock two arsenal-made loods for belt carry. Slight surface corrosion on the hinge apart in very god condition, no crack. Condition: I - II Questions about the lot?
