Description

Cal. 8x57 IS, Nr. 6060b. All matching numbers incl. stock and screws (except bajonet mount, numbered 13). Bright bore. Five shots. German proof marks 1976. Original non-military proof marks from Suhl, Eagle over N over the date code "640" (= June 1940). Mauser rear sight, coded S/42 with two acceptance marks Eagle/WaA63. Extended safety lever. The markings on top of the receiver removed. Various imperial acceptance marks. The entire rifle built by the SS Depot No. 2, therefore bearing a skull mark under "SS2" on the barrel root. Reblued. Length 110cm. The stock shortened to match the gun, most likely reworked, but stamped inside with the proper number, the upper hand guard with the maker's mark "Zimber". Cleaning rod, muzzle cap, leather strap.  A Kahles "Heliavier" scope with focus ring, mounted on a swedish M96 mount, numbered 448. Reticle 1, the body slightly spotted. Attention - For this gun we will need to obtain an export license for you, based on your import permit (if needed in your country) or through your firearms dealer. The auction includes 656 lots and starts on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 3001 - 3656. The pre-sale viewing will take place from May 21 - 24, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET). However, the number of participants for both auction and viewing is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions and requires an appointment. Bring your favourite breathing mask!
