The upper sides of the barrels engraved with "1" and "2", respectively, and signature "G. O. NERKL IN GROSSENHAIN" (incompletely) inlaid in silver. The breechblocks engraved with three-dimensional coat of arms. Florally engraved percussion locks with single set triggers (one defective). Walnut half stocks with fluted butts and engraved iron furniture. One stock with minor shrinkage cracks. Length of each 41 cm. In an oak case lined with green felt, appointed with complete accessories, the lid with framed coat-of-arms cartouche carved in relief.
