Back-action percussion locks engraved en suite to the snails, either lock with signature "P. BOITHARD A ST. ETIENNE" around the hammer. Florally carved and fluted walnut stocks with iron mounts identically engraved to the lock. On the trigger guards floral silver and gold inlays with (later engraved) monogram “DT”.
