Description

The octagonal barrel turning to round with remnants of old bluing. Smooth bore in 17.5 mm calibre. Dovetailed silver "spider" front sights. The signature "H. Devillers" inlaid in gold at the breech, between scrolling bands and decorative tendrils. Gold-inlaid vent hole. The lock with deeply etched tendrils on a finely chased, gold-inlaid background. The name of the town "à Liège" inlaid in gold on the lock plate. The slightly carved full stock in walnut with brass furniture, engraved and lavishly decorated in relief. Wooden ramrod with a dark horn tip. Length 51 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?

The auction includes 656 lots and starts on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 10 am (CET). Lot no. 3001 - 3656. The pre-sale viewing will take place from May 21 - 24, 2020 from 2 to 6 pm (CET).
