Smooth bore in cal. 15 mm. Silver front sight. On the breech finely chiselled and partly gilt decoration, showing a mascaron between tendrils and Acanthus leaves. The flintlock chiselled with floral decorations. Nicely carved full stock with iron mounts, chiselled to match. The escutcheon crowned, with an image of an antique warrior. The tang of the butt plate also showing a mascaron and an antique bust. Wooden ramrod with a horn tip. Length 145 cm. An excellent shotgun in courtly quality. Condition: II Questions about the lot?
