Sturdy, octagonal barrel with six-groove rifled bore in 12.5 mm calibre with dovetailed brass front sight and iron rear sight. The upper side of the barrel with date "1672" and mark "VB" (Stöckel no. 4633). Lightly cut wheellock with double set trigger and closed wheel cover with trefoil perforation. Walnut full stock carved with imbricate pattern in the butt area and with engraved and blackened bone inlays. The patch box engraved with hunting scenes and flowers, on the reverse inscription and date "1786", containing the original wheellock wrench.
