Kal. .50 (Blackpowder), Nr. 12860, Gezogener Lauf, Länge 32 1/2", auf der Oberseite verstellbare Visierung, links am Lauf und auf dem Verschlussblock Nummer "12860". Verschlussklappe gestempelt mit Jahreszahl "1869" sowie Adlerkopf/"U.S.", Schlossplatte mit Jahreszahl "1863" sowie Adler/"U.S."/"Springfield". Vollschaft mit gestempelter, eiserner Garnitur, Schlossgegenseite mit zwei Inspektorenkartuschen, auf dem Lappen der Kolbenkappe gestempelt "US". Eiserner Putz- und Entladestock. Länge 132 cm.
