Cal. . 455 Webley, Nr. 336869, Matching numbers. Nearly bright bore, length 6". Cylinder for six rounds. Valid British nitro proof. Frame bridge inscribed on the left "MARK VI", signed at bottom of the frame "Webley / Mark VI / Patents / 1918". Various acceptance marks, broad arrow and British proof marks. Frame with "R.A.F." stamp on the right. Original thin finish partially slightly spotted, cylinder with signs of wear. On the bottom left of the grip a slot for the mounting of the shoulder stock. With walnut shoulder stock, number 4740. Stock mounted by way of a grip-shaped, pierced, blued steel plate with the date stamp "1918". The stock stamped "R.A.F. / W.2." within a circle on the back right. The stock is additionally fastened from the right by a screw-on bronze grip panel. Two swivel rings. Good overall condition. The original shoulder stock comes from the Webley No. 1 Mark I signal pistol, which featured a grip that was identical to the Mark VI revolver's.
