Description

Cal. .38 ACP, Nr. 604, Bright bore, length 6". Magazine for seven rounds. Certificate of proof mark absence for collectors. Made in 1900. On the left of the breech patent specification and Hartford address, on the right the inscription "Automatic Pistol / Calibre 38 Rimless Smokeless". Original finish at the breech partially spotty, signs of wear, thin and lightly spotted at the backstrap. Barrel and trigger blued. Colour-case hardened hammer. Smooth mother-of-pearl grips. Proper nickel-plated magazine, the base marked "Pat'd Sept.9.1884". A total of only 3,500 pieces was produced until 1903.
