Description
Cal. 9mm Nickl, Nr. 24, All parts with matching numbers. Nearly mirror-like bore, magazine for eight rounds. Certificate of proof mark absence. The grip frame marked "N" on the left, lockplate with Mauser barrel and two-line company mark "Waffenfabrik Mauser A.G. / Oberndorf a.N.". Original finish partially rubbed at exposed places. The one-piece walnut grip panel with matching numbers and slight signs of use, no hair cracks. Unmarked, associated magazine. Designed by Joseph Nickl for Mauser. The concept was not pursued by the Mauser company, sold to the Czechoslovakian government in 1921, and produced by CZ as Model 1922 for the Czechoslovakian army.I - II Questions about the lot?
