Cal. 7,63 mm Mauser, Nr. 603, External matching numbers. Firing pin "07". Nearly bright bore, length 163 mm. Magazine for seven rounds. Proof-mark double crown/U. Turning sight scaled 1 - 5. Bolt rotary action with short recoil. Magazine safety. Locking bolt to keep the breechblock open. Two-line Cyrillic dealer's engraving (tr.) "Trading company / Count Juriy Trubezkaj & Co in Kiev" on the receiver. Original, blue-black finish mainly at front of barrel and on frame very spotted, grips partially unblued. Original glossy finish thinner and spotted at the edges of the frame and back straps. Walnut grip panels. Matching-numbered, nickel-plated stick magazine with spur. The technically remarkable pistol was no success in Germany and unable to compete with the Mauser C 96 which was then well-established on the market. Supposedly the few manufactured pistols went predominantly to Russia such as the one offered here. Extremely rare collector's item.
