Description

Cal. 7x65 R, Nr. K 3127, Mirror-like bore. Length 60 cm. Valid proof mark. Round to octagonal barrel. The lower section with barrel rib bearing a standing rear sight. The barrel root richly engraved and framed by gold threads and vine leaves. Jäger tilted block lock which catches into the extension of the rib. Gold-coloured tilted block, coated with titanium. Steel boxlock action richly engraved with acanthus leaves and fitted with long side plates. These are deeply engraved with very detailed depictions of hunting goddesses, stags, and hounds. On the stock wrist a slider for the manual cocking system which automatically uncocks when the barrels are dropped. Adjustable fine trigger. Buttstock of excellent walnut root wood with German cheekpiece. Length 36 cm. Stock magazine with en-suite engraved lid. Inscribed monogram plaque on the pistol grip. Fine fishscale pattern at the buttstock and forend, framed by vines and leaves. Elegant Schnabel forend tip. Overall length 101 cm. Mounted by way of a pivot mount: scope DDoptics 2.5 - 15 x 50 with illuminated reticle 4. Rifle and scope in a matching green Merkel case with brown leather corners. Dimensions 72 x 28 x 10 cm. Extremely well-balanced, handy and elegant drop-barrel gun in as new condition.
