Description

Cal. 6,5x57 R / .22 WMR / 20/70, Nr. 20576 / 1712.73, Bright bores, the small calibre rifle barrel with muzzle adjustment, length 58 cm, Ferlach proof mark 1982. Double barrel hook lock-up with lever action, steel boxlock action with elaborate and deep engraving. On the left a motif with St. Hubert's stag, on the right hunting goddess Diana with slain stag, the underside with a hound's head, everything framed by edelweiss blossoms with gold-inlaid calyces, the entwined monogram at top also gold inlaid. Double trigger with front set trigger. Safety at stock wrist, switch large/small calibre at right. Stock of dark grained root wood with Bavarian cheek piece, double moulding and fish scale pattern. Grip cap with gold inlaid coat of arms. Stock length 36.5 cm. Mounted by way of Suhl claw mount: scope Zeiss Diavari Z 1.5 - 6 x 42, reticle 4. Overall length 101 cm. Very elaborately crafted weapon.
Scheiring bergstutzen: cal. 6.5 x 57 R/ .22 WMR no. 1712.73. Bright bores, the barrel rails inscribed "Waffen Zeitler Bad Ischl" (retailer’s address). Ferlach proof mark, barrel hook lock-up with lever and tilting block which snaps into the extended barrel rail, steel boxlock action with side plates, deeply chiselled engraving and silver inlaid animals, on the right a moufflon, on the left a fox chasing a hare, on the underside a wood grouse, everything framed by finely pierced arabesques. Safety at the stock wrist, switch large/small calibre at left. German trigger. Stock of vividly grained root wood with Bavarian cheek piece and double moulding, decorated with an ornamental frieze at the end of the stock and oak leaves at the pistol grip and forend. Stock length 36 cm. Mounted by way of Suhl claw mount: scope Schmidt & Bender 1.5 - 6 x 42, reticle 1. Overall length 95 cm. Light, elegant and easy-to-handle weapon of fine quality. Both weapons in a brown leather case lined with green cloth. Dimensions 84 x 24 x 14 cm.
