Octagonal rifled barrels of finest Damascus steel in 11 mm calibre, mirror-like bores, on the upper sides number and signature inlaid in gold, the bases of the barrels with fine gold inlays, elaborately engraved patent breechblocks and tangs, the latter with adjustable rear sights. Cut percussion locks with deeply etched tendril engravings, the lock plates also signed. Set triggers with originally blued locking screws. Beautifully grained half stocks with fluted grips and iron furniture cut and etched en suite. Length of each 43 cm. Case covered with lavish veneer, the lid with engraved, folding brass handle. The case lined with felt of unfaded green, the edges reinforced with brass borders, richly appointed with accessories such as two powder flasks, bullet mould and patch punch (with original high-gloss finish), loading and cleaning tools.
