Description

Smooth bores of Damascus steel in 13.5 mm calibre, on the upper sides barrel ribs with signatures "Albrecht" and "Bayreuth", respectively, inlaid in silver, the breeches with finely cut and partly gilt rocaille décor, the tangs also decorated with cut rocailles on a punched ground. Sparsely engraved and signed flintlocks. Finely carved full stocks with horn noses and silver furniture equally decorated with fine rocailles. Silver escutcheons with later (?) monograms "JG" inlaid in gold. Wooden ramrods with horn tips. One horn nose with minor defect. Length of each 36 cm.
