Description

Round barrel with heavily swamped muzzle, smooth bore in 16 mm calibre. The upper side of the barrel with several fullers, at the breech decorated with cut scrollwork and tendrils, cut signatures "R" and "AF". Original, non-matching lock with internal wheel, the lock plate engraved with hunting scene, signed "F.Z." above the spring. High-quality stock circa 1640 with finely engraved and blackened bone inlays. Butt with patch box. Wooden ramrod with bone tip. Length 107 cm.
Rifle assembled from old parts, barrel, trigger mechanism and trigger guard replaced during the Historismus period.
