Description

Bellied vessel, the spout shaped like a monkey's head. Black smoked clay. Intact. Height 13.5 cm. Vessel in the shape of a curled up lying carnivore, the head plastically formed. One spout broken and professionally restored. Otherwise intact. Length 17.5 cm.

Provenance: From the estate of a West German collector.
