Silver, worked in several pieces, the rectangular base plate mounted on four ball feet, the central column with a suspension ring at the top and two lateral supports for the missing salt cellar and pepper pot, the two base mounts and three-legged supports for the carafes screwed together separately with eleven (of twelve/one replaced) silver star grip nuts. Fine neoclassical décor, with sphinxes etc. All parts lavishly stamped with the French mark of fineness for .950 silver between 1798 and 1809, warranty marks for medium-sized objects from the same period, guild stamps and the master's marks "I.A.B.". Dimensions of the ménage 24 x 11 x 28 cm, weight 659 g. The two perfectly matching carafes made of hand-blown glass with a faceted body. One stopper is original and one replaced. Height 18 cm.The pair of spice bowls of slightly different design, with glass inserts, the silver mounting with three claw feet, crowned with an eagle, stamped with the mark of fineness for .950 silver and the warranty mark between 1798 and 1908. Diameter 7.5 cm, height 6 cm, total silver weight 131 g.
