A Cimmerian dagger, 7th century B.C.

Dagger with iron blade, bronze hilt and bronze cross bar (cf. finds from the Tschernogorowka-culture). Oval hemispherical pommel. With bronze chape, the end of which consists of two dragonheads standing opposite each other. A small piece of the blade tip is lost. Good iron substance of the blade. The bronze parts with beautiful green patina. Length 31.5 cm.
