Depot piece. Tombac skull (stamped "44" on the top), ridged at the back, the nickel-silver, front visor rail marked "G. R." underneath. Silver-plated star with a gilt coat of arms appliqué, convex chinscales backed with leather attached to M 94 side post lugs, national cockades in lacquered sheet iron. Silver-plated parade lion (rubbed) above the cipher shield "FAR", the left hind paw stamped "4.57" underneath. The interior crown of the helmet skull with the manufacturer's mark "G.H. Osang Dresden" and head size "59". Black liner with leather flaps (minor defects), the interior of the front visor lacquered in green, the rear visor lined in black leather. Slightly damaged in places, signs of age. The rare, worn helmet in beautiful condition.Condition:II Questions about the lot?
