Description
Rectangular gilt copper panel with polychrome enamel inlays, flanked by a semi-circular column on either side, the upper edge with cranked arch. Depiction of the crucifixion of Christ. The crucifix with the crowned Jesus surrounded by four worshippers. Surmounted by two angels holding the sun and the moon, and the dove of the Holy Ghost. The applied figures in high relief with finely engraved details and glass eyes. Richly enamelled décor in various shades of blue, green, white and red. Circumferential old fastening holes.
