Long, double-edged thrusting blade of diamond section. A fleur-de-lys stamped onto both sides of the sturdy ricasso, together with the signature "SANDR*SCACCHI". The three-bar, iron knuckle-bow hilt entirely covered in ornamental silver inlays, the guard plate with multiple perforations, inset on the underside. The original wooden grip with spiral flutes, embellished with silver corded wire and silver dots. The hilt with a patina and somewhat grimy, covered with (later) black lacquer in places, but can easily be improved by cleaning. Length 130.5 cm. Condition: II Questions about the lot?
