Description
Three-part assembled holder of V2A steel after a draft by Walter Lemcke, Berlin. On the front an etched Eagle with the Olympic rings above the inscription “Fackel-Staffel-Lauf - Olympia-Berlin - 1936” and the stations of the route from Olympia to Berlin. The plate with a circumferential etching on the top “Als Dank dem Träger * Organisations-Komitee für die XI. Olympiade Berlin 1936” and on the bottom “Krupp Nirosta V2A Stahl, Stiftung der Fried. Krupp A.G. Essen”, height approx. 27 cm, weight approx. 470 gr.Condition: I - II Questions about the lot?
