Description
Blade etched on both sides, manufacturer “Clemen & Jung, Solingen” (etched logo), the blade slightly shortened, length approx. 24 cm, gilt brass fittings, white handle with intact wire winding, no chips, gilt “lightning bolts” scabbard in brass, two thin wooden strips on the inside of the scabbard to hold the blade more securely, period-bound portepee, of the hangers only the upper strap is present, without fittings. The dagger comes from the estate of Dr. Hermann Ferdinand Müller. Comes with a photo of him. It should be noted that opinions regarding the etched manufacturer's logo of Clemen & Jung are in part divided.Condition: II + Questions about the lot?
