Description

Lightly used winter version of the Luftwaffe pilot/aircrew so-called “Kanalhose”. Designed to carry essential survival items such as a flare gun, signal flares, rescue knife, emergency rations, signal flag, etc., in case of emergency during the Battle of Britain, but used on all fronts where the Luftwaffe operated. This example is made of grey sheepskin with regular cloth pockets, as per the standard issue version. All zippers (Wico) and press buttons are present and in good working condition. The frontal zipper has been replaced with an original Wico zipper. The front right pocket and the two side buckles have been removed.

The auction starts on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at 4 pm (CET), start subject to the timing of the preceding auction, with Lot no. 8001 - 8488 and continues on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 8489 - 9186. The pre-sale view will take place from May 12 - May 15 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
