Description

Custom-made jacket in field-gray wool with a dark green collar, field-gray buttons, and green artificial silk lining with a tailor's label from Petschke, Berlin; the faded wearer's label dated 1942 (?) in the inside pocket. Silver-embroidered breast eagle and collar tabs, sewn-on shoulder boards with GD insignia, black brassard with silver-embroidered lettering in Sütterlin script. Attached field clasp, orders loops, silver aiguillette.
