Description

Oil on canvas with depiction of Lt. Gen. Mauss in his armoured personnel carrier, wearing a half-open winter jacket beneath which his general's insignia are visible, including the knight's cross with swords and diamonds, and a visor cap. Lower right the signature of the noted Russian portrait painter Sergei Vladimirovich Danilin, dated 1994. Frame dimensions circa 110 x 90 cm.
