Description

Privately purchased officer-quality cap made of fine field-grey wool, featuring a dark green band and golden-yellow piping. Cream-colored silk lining with a leather sweatband and “Peküro … Uniformhaus Bleyer Lüneburg” diamond-shaped maker's mark. Incorrectly added Prussian cockade (traces of the original metal Eagle's mounting points are visible beneath) and Weimar-era oak leaf wreath; black lacquered chin strap. Colors remain fresh; condition is near-mint/unworn. Size approx. 55.
