Description

Fine field-grey cloth with dark green centre band, red piping and black lacquered visor. Gold-yellow silk lining with silver-printed celluloid diamond shield “Offizier Kleiderkasse Berlin - Erel Sonderklasse - Extra”, with the sewn-in Erel quality seal; fine sweatband with felt underlay at the forehead and silver embossing “Erel Stirmschutz ...”. Aluminum eagle, silver embroidered oakleaf wreath and cockade (the Erel-typical ventilation rivet visible beneath the partially detached lining), silver chin cords. Unworn with minimal moth and storage traces. Size circa 56.
