Description
Bronzed tin box with predominantly hammered exterior surfaces, four semi-spherical feet and wooden insert. The lidded top with a central engraved cartouche “SS-Unterführerschule Dachau”. Dimensions 21 x 12 x 6 cm. Together with an SS-Soldatenfreund/Taschenjahrbuch für die Wehrmacht 1944, edition D: Waffen-SS. 62 pages, with visible signs of use and annotations. The NCO school in Dachau served as the SS training establishment between April 1936 and July 1937, where NCOs for the Totenkopf units were trained. In 1937 the school was dissolved and incorporated into the SS-Junkerschule Bad Tölz.Condition: II - III Questions about the lot?
