Description
Made of light grey cloth, the metal appliqués depicting the national eagle with SS runes, silver-plated and embossed, with a surrounding silver-plated metal border. Sewn-in type, the buttons with the first SS Totenkopf pattern. All appliqués clip-mounted, the prongs are visible on the reverse, inscribed by hand “11” and “12” on the reverse, each shoulder board with traces of adhesive on the reverse. The light grey cloth was likely intended for SS Ehrenführer, matching the cuff title. Similar shoulder boards are illustrated in the reference book “Uniforms of the SS” by Andrew Mollo. Extremely rare find.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
