Description

Fine sand-colored wool felt (so-called “camel hair” type) featuring the silver-gray Latin inscription “Afrika” flanked by palm trees, with silver-gray edge piping on both sides. Unworn. Length approx. 48 cm. Accompanied by a certificate dated August 21, 1944, issued to a non-commissioned officer in the 5th Battery of Artillery Regiment 220 (5./A.R. 220). Folded, with adhesive residue on the reverse.
