Description

Bronze sculpture of an eagle perched on a plinth, clutching a sword in its talons, with a chain and the *Turner-Bund* (Gymnasts' Association) emblem beneath; mounted on a brownish marble base featuring a circular depression in the center. Sculpture dimensions: 12 x 12 cm; base dimensions: 14 x 16.5 cm. Very good condition, with only a small chip in the marble (on the right).

The auction starts on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at 4 pm (CET), start subject to the timing of the preceding auction, with Lot no. 8001 - 8488 and continues on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 8489 - 9186. The pre-sale view will take place from May 12 - May 15 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
