Description

Silver pocket watch with a partially gilded case; white dial featuring black indices, the Alpina logo, and a small seconds sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position. The case back features a relief depiction of a worker with a corresponding inscription, and bears the “0.900” fineness stamp along with the crescent moon and crown hallmark on the inside. The dust cover bears an engraved name above the dates “1899–1939.” Gilded manual-wind movement, caliber 217. Diameter approx. 51 mm. Comes in its original presentation case, which retains traces of the gold-stamped company logo. The watch runs, though—as with all watches that have been idle for a long period—cleaning and servicing are recommended.
