Description

Typical manufactured example in red watered silk, the ends with bullion fringe trim, hand-embroidered national eagle on red cloth, with gold printed inscription below “Der Führer”, furthermore the standard of Adolf Hitler as Commander-in-Chief of the Wehrmacht, likewise hand-embroidered on ribbed silk, overall length approx. 400 cm, width 27 cm, light signs of age. The large funeral sash was used exclusively at funerals of high-ranking personalities and war heroes. Very rare!

The auction starts on Wednesday, November 25, 2026 at 4 pm (CET), start subject to the timing of the preceding auction, with Lot no. 8001 - 8488 and continues on Thursday, November 26, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 8489 - 9186. The pre-sale view will take place from May 12 - May 15 2026 in our auction rooms at Bretonischer Ring 3 in 85630 Grasbrunn / Munich from 11 am to 5 pm (CET).
