On the first page, a handwritten dedication: (tr.) "This book was presented to me at a conference of the Social Affairs Department of the Reich Youth Leadership in Munich. Ulrich Graf—who saved the Führer's life on November 9, 1923, by throwing himself in front of him—and Jakob Grimminger—the bearer of the 'Blood Flag' on November 9, 1923—were present at the reception hosted by Lord Mayor Fiehler at City Hall. They signed the book. Munich, January 11, 1939. Henry v. ?., Regional Officer for the Baden Region (21)." On the second page are the signatures of Lord Mayor Karl Fiehler, Ulrich Graf (SS-Brigadeführer), and Jakob Grimminger (SS-Standartenführer).
