Description

Sash for officers of the german Imperial Navy with fire-gilt solid base-metal clasp bearing a crowned cipher “W” on anchor with polished details, band of silver thread (stained) with coloured insets and navy-blue lining (repaired), both slides present and sewn-in retaining strap. Together with a further well-preserved example. Additionally a german sword knot and two Austrian portepees as well as two unidentified epaulette cord fragments of coloured wool. Partly incomplete, damaged, Signs of age and wear.
