Description

Identical manufacture from cream-colored silk damask, featuring a woven depiction of a Zeppelin over the New York skyline (?) as well as over water and a rural German landscape. Portraits of Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin and Dr. Hugo Eckener appear at the bottom edge. Dimensions approx. 100 x 50 cm; one specimen is slightly stained. Rare.

The auction starts on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 6001 - 7079 and continues on Wednesday, November 25 at 10 am (CET) with Lot no. 7080 - 7502.
