Description
Nickel-plated, slightly curved, single-edged blade (cutting edge ground down, slightly notched), marked “WK & C”, with the field inscription “Dr. med. Isermeyer, Kriegslazarettabtlg. XIX. 1914 -1915” on the obverse and “Gott strafe England” on the other side. Lavish relief-decorated gilt non-ferrous metal knuckle-bow hilt (abraded) with lion's head pommel cap, crossed cannon barrels, fish-scale grip (abraded) and triple wire winding. Black lacquered iron scabbard (slightly abraded, traces of rust) with a rigid mounting ring. Signs of age and wear. Length 97 cm.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
