Description
Field-grey cloth (superficial moth damage here and there) with ponceau red cap band piping and ponceau red band, lacquered metal cockades, lacquered peak. Beige silk lining (stained, tears), stamped “C.W.Borchert Berlin, Hoflieferant Berlin” and “F.W.” as well as a props stamp. Ochre-coloured leather sweatband (stained, occasional tears) with Borchert embossed stamp. Field-grey camouflage band laid around the cap band (stained, buckled at the rear). Warped, slightly damaged, signs of wear and age.351532
