Description
Shell and casing entirely of black lacquered sheet iron (lacquering refreshed, rubbed, traces of rust). On the front, an embossed line eagle in brass, fixed by leather wedges. Black leather chinstrap on button 91, Imperial cockade in sheet iron on the right (refinished). Good black leather flap lining, one flap stamped “B.A.IV” on the underside. Field insignia inserted at the top, replaced. Lanyard and toggle missing. Partially incomplete, replaced parts, signs of wear and age. Rare variant.Condition: II Questions about the lot?
