Description
Jaeger green pressed felt; the helmet body, together with the front and rear visors, is pressed from a single piece, each with a ventilation hole on the side. The Prussian line eagle, made of grey galvanised sheet iron (rusty), is affixed to the front; a leather storm strap is attached to button 91, and on the right is the Reich cockade made of lacquered sheet iron. No regimental insignia provided. Well-preserved lining of the helmet flaps made of black oilcloth, dated “1915” at the nape. Clear signs of wear and age.
