Description

Slightly curved wedge-section blade (stained, unmarked), brass vessel, stamped “L.M.K.1. ABT. 227”, leather scabbard (shrunken) with brass fittings, marked “S&K” and “8.T.L.11.26.” on the locket. Accompanied by a matching numbers fascine knife M 31 with Gladius blade (stained), maker's etching polished over, a heavy brass cruciform hilt (stamped "33") with a ribbed grip, and a brass-mounted leather scabbard stamped "33" on the locket. Slightly damaged in places, Signs of age. Length 59 and 66 cm.
